Filming
We can supply a wide range of filming solutions, from safety filming (to enable normal glass to conform to safety glass standards), to tinted filming for specialist installations. Other types of filming are also available.

Heat-rejection film is film is a film applied to the interior of the glass, and is specifically designed to reject infrared, ultraviolet light and visible light, and should be coupled with a low-emissivity coating applied to the exterior of the glass.

Privacy film can create a one-way mirror, depending on light conditions. Mirrored glass, if correctly applied, can create a mirrored effect on one side of the glass permanently, regardless of light levels on either side.

Safety film (Also called “Security film), is designed to prevent the glass shattering under impact, and to contain the glass if shattering does occur. This is sometimes used on glass that has already shattered, to provide some integrity, while replacement glass is sought.

Express Leeds glaziers offer a complete double glazing service including a local double glazing installer, double glazing repairs and Leeds replacement double glazing.

Double-glazed units take approximately two to three days to order, and all our units come with a manufacturers guarantee. If requested, we can replace the vacuum between the glass panes with a layer of Argon gas, to further facilitate heat management. We can also supply and install triple-glazed units on request for Leeds and the local area.
